In CNC lathe processing parts, the process should generally be divided according to the principle of process concentration, and most or even all surface processing should be completed as much as possible under one clamping. According to the different structural shapes of the parts, the outer garden, end face or inner hole clamping is usually selected, and the design datum, process datum and programming origin are unified as much as possible. Next, Hongweisheng Precision Technology Co., Ltd. will explore with you the division of CNC lathe processing procedures.

In mass production, the following two methods are commonly used to divide the process. 1. Divided according to the processing surface of the part. Arrange the surface with high position accuracy requirements under one clamping to avoid the installation error caused by multiple clamping from affecting the position accuracy.

2. Divided by rough and finish machining. For parts with large blank allowance and high machining accuracy requirements, rough turning and finishing turning should be separated and divided into two or more processes. Arrange the rough turning on the CNC lathe with lower precision and higher power, and arrange the finishing turning on the CNC lathe with higher precision.

The division of CNC lathe processing procedures mainly considers the production program, the equipment used and the structure and technical requirements of the parts themselves. In mass production, if a multi-axis, multi-tool high-efficiency machining center is used, the production can be organized according to the principle of process concentration; if it is processed on an automatic line composed of combined machine tools, the process is generally divided according to the principle of decentralization.
