About PA66 Injection Molding

PA66 nylon has the characteristics of extremely high mechanical strength, tensile strength, surface hardness and rigidity are higher than other nylon materials, but nylon materials generally have water absorption and absorb moisture in the air, so they need to be dried.

During the injection molding process, the temperature requirements are very strict. The temperature setting during the molding process is determined according to the actual performance of PA66 nylon, equipment conditions, and details of the product structure. Because nylon material has low viscosity and good fluidity, but the solidification speed is relatively fast, we usually need to control a high injection pressure to avoid product quality problems.

Usually, excessive injection molding pressure will cause burrs in the product, and when the pressure is insufficient, there will be quality problems such as ripples, bubbles, and insufficient molding.
