After the fuel tank is cleaned, check the tightness. During the inspection, block all the holes of the oil tank with rubber plugs, immerse in water, and input compressed air from the joint hole of the oil pipe. Welding after painting. During welding repair, different welding methods can be used for welding repair according to the size and location of the leakage hole. If the leak is small, it can be repaired by soldering; if the leak is too large, it should be patched and repaired; if there is a crack at the junction of the upper and lower half shells of the gasoline tank, the float of the fuel tank cap and the oil gauge sensor should be removed before welding. Remove the group end cap and fill the fuel tank with cold water to prevent explosion. When welding, use gas welding to cut off the weld seam with a width of 2 or 3 mm at the place that needs welding repair, and then use gas welding to repair it. After welding repair, use a file to trim the weld. If there is a large depression on the wall of the fuel tank, an iron rod can be welded in the depression to pull out the depression for repair. The repaired fuel tank should be tested again for tightness.
